We (TAG – originally The Ad/venture Group) are a full-service marketing & advertising agency that relentlessly strategizes actions to help our clients reach their goals and objectives, share their message, promote their ideas, and make their organization the best it can be. Bruno D'Angelo
Principle Managing Director and Creative Director

The owner and president of The Ad/venture Group founded in 1995. Following the successful completion of the Nordic World Ski Championships, he founded the company with the specific goal of providing a host of marketing and sponsorship services to the Northern Ontario region. A graduate of the Business Marketing program at Confederation College, he has a strong sense not only for management but also the creative thought necessary to provide complete & effective marketing strategies to his clients. Bruno’s background also includes doing the marketing for Intercity Shopping Centre (Campeau Corporation, Cambridge Shopping Centres), Keskus Mall (Nu-west Developments), and hotel management for Ramada Inn of Canada. Bruno is a strong supporter of local Thunder Bay businesses, and is a proud member of Thunder Bay Executives.

Maria D'Angelo
Principle Event Marketing, Administration and Chief Financial Officer

Maria has a background in accounting and business management, a graduate of Lakehead University; she has worked for large corporations such as OnTrac in addition to various small businesses. Currently, she oversees general management and planning required for all of TAG clients and events. Her coordination skills are unsurpassed and she has a variety of skills including accounting, graphic design, event planning, fund raising, and corporate sponsorship.

Art Director

Farida is a talented and gifted graphic artist. Her accumulated knowledge and experience makes her an exceptional web designer and multi-media artist. She has been part of TAG since 2004 and has contributed to many of our successful print and web campaigns. Completing her diploma at the Aptech Institute-Arene Multimedia in Mumbai, India gives Farida a unique and desirable edge. Farida’s better half is an extremely talented and ambitious Chef, she has moved all over the globe with him, and currently works from Tucson, Arizona.

Client Marketing Director

Vaid joined us in April 2023 with a Bachelor of Management Studies and a Diploma in Brand Management and Marketing Communication from India, as well as a Diploma in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics from Confederation College. She uses this diverse educational background along with 5 years of experience across banking, operations, and marketing to provide a strong foundation in client service. Her strategic thinking and analytical skills were further refined during her role as a Governor on the Confederation College Board of Governors. She is always ready to break marketing molds to give the best results to our clients.

Client Marketing Director

Simone is a Marketing professional with a PG Diploma in Digital Marketing and a Master’s in International Business. She is known for her blend of innovative thinking, hands-on experience, and strategic insight. Her unique perspective comes from working in First Nations communities facilitating workshops, that focused on empowerment, team building, and education. This background in developing captivating, culturally aware programs has enhanced her marketing strategy by providing a thorough understanding of community interactions and a dedication toward meaningful impact. Simone tends to make sure that every campaign not only brings results but is also memorable, bringing a mix of personality and professionalism to every project.

Client Marketing Director

Dely is a dynamic marketing and communications strategy specialist with over 20 years of experience in global communications, marketing and PR initiatives. Her career path includes managing high-profile accounts at Porter Novelli and Newlink Group and leading projects for industry giants such as HP, Xerox and Autodesk. With an MSc in Communication Management from Australia’s Murdoch University, along with an AMEC certification in Communication Measurement and Evaluation from PR Academy in the UK and diplomas in Digital Marketing from Brain Station and Business and Marketing from Confederation College, she combines top-notch credentials with a wealth of international experience. Her dedication to digital literacy shines through in her project Tecky Brains, which earned her a finalist spot in the Women in Tech Global Awards.

Robert E. Armstrong is a dedicated and results-driven marketing professional with over a decade of international experience. He has a proven track record of building strong client relationships. Robert is skilled in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, and creating compelling content to attract and retain clients. He provides strategic marketing counsel and leads content-driven initiatives that align with business goals. Robert holds an MBA and is a chartered marketer. He loves to give back to his community as he currently volunteers for the Thunder Bay Children’s Aid Society. He loves music and has keen interest in Agriculture as well.

Puppy Patrol

Frankie patrols the office making sure all the staff are greeted with a waggling tail and offers cuddles to anyone in need of a little stress relief. He is also a certified woofer acting as the agency doorbell and can proudly say he has caught the mailman.

Health & Happiness Manager

Charlie has been with the Tucson office since 2017. Besides bringing joy, Charlie makes sure our designer remembers to walk around every hour or so to maintain good health and happiness!
