Job Posting: Event & Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a Event & Marketing Coordinator who is equal parts organized, creative, and execution focused. Someone who is excited to support marketing campaigns and manage events from planning through delivery.
What You’ll Do
This is a role spanning marketing, communications, as well as event planning and execution. You’ll work closely with our marketing, creative, and events teams to support both internal initiatives and client projects.
Event Planning & Execution
- Assist with event logistics and coordination across venues, vendors, travel, and accommodations
- Maintain event timelines and task tracking tools
- Support development of event materials and documentation
- Manage attendee communications and RSVP tracking
- Provide on-site and virtual event support as required

Post-event wrap-up including feedback collection, reporting, and asset archiving
Marketing & Communications
- Support the creation and editing of content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, websites, and other marketing assets
- Assist with the execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, paid media, and organic social channels
- Conduct industry, audience, and competitor research to inform campaign strategy
- Create, schedule, and manage content using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
- Track campaign performance and support basic reporting on engagement, reach, and key KPIs
Creative & Content Support
- Coordinate photo and video shoots, including scheduling, shot lists, and approvals
- Assist with on-site content capture at events, including photography, video, and testimonials
- Organize and maintain content libraries and marketing assets
Administration & Coordination
- Maintain campaign calendars, event schedules, and project timelines
- Support client presentations and proposals with formatting, proofreading, and layout
- Assist with post-event wrap-up including feedback collection, reporting, and asset archiving
Who You Are
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Social media savvy and curious about digital and experiential trends
- Calm under pressure and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Proactive, collaborative, and ready to jump in where needed
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, events, hospitality, or a related field (internships count)
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Public Relations, Hospitality, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally/provincially as events require
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms (Zoom, Teams) and basic AV/production
- Experience supporting conferences, trade shows, or large-scale events
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience working with First Nations communities or a strong understanding of Indigenous cultures
- Content portfolio
