Job Posting: Research Analyst

Job Description
TAG Creative Strategy is a marketing, events, and management consulting firm that helps organizations move ideas into action. From long-term strategy to day-to-day communications, we work alongside our clients to solve complex challenges by combining creativity and strategy.
At TAG, everyone is expected to take ownership of their work. Whether you’re leading a project or contributing to one part of it, you are responsible for moving it forward and keeping it on track.
Across all roles we look for people who:
- Can plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Take responsibility and follow through on their work
- Think beyond individual tasks and understand the bigger picture
- Bring creativity that’s engaging, purposeful, and result-driven
We’re looking for a Research Analyst who is curious, analytical, and able to turn complex information into clear, actionable insight.
This role supports TAG’s strategic planning, consulting, and marketing work by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information that informs real decisions. You’ll work across a range of projects, researching markets, communities, policies, and industries, then translating that information into structured insights that guide strategy, messaging, and planning.
A key part of this role is report writing — organizing findings into clear, well-structured documents, presentations, and summaries that can be used by both internal teams and clients. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move beyond data collection — someone who can connect dots, identify patterns, and communicate findings in a way that is clear, relevant, and useful.

Responsibilities include:
- Conduct multi-disciplinary research across sectors (market, policy, economic, community, and industry-specific topics) depending on client needs.

- Prepare research briefs, summaries, and relevant documents to inform internal strategy discussions.
- Support the development of strategic plans, business plans, and marketing strategies through research and analysis.
- Organize findings into client-ready reports, presentations, and internal knowledge resources
- Analyze audience, sector, and economic trends relevant to client projects
- Assist with survey design, stakeholder research, and data interpretation
- Monitor trends across sectors relevant to TAG’s clients
Your Credentials
- Post-secondary degree in business, economics, social sciences, public policy, or related field
- Strong research and analytical skills across multiple subject areas (not limited to one industry)
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative information
- Excellent writing and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- High attention to details
- Curiosity and a strong desire to understand how systems work
